Every model runs a galvanized steel cylinder that shrugs off corrosion for decades, comes in gas or 240V electric, and carries a 3, 5 or 7-year factory warranty — parts and in-home labor: 7 years on the DR7, 5 on the DR5 and DC5, 3 on the DR3, and 5 on the DF7 front-load match.
Gas or electric?
If your laundry room already has a gas line, the gas model typically costs less to run per load and dries slightly faster; if you only have a 240V outlet, electric installs with no plumbing at all.
