Do you offer free delivery?

US Standard Freight is free on orders over $1,298.99. Orders of $0.01–$699.00 ship for $149; orders of $699.01 and up ship for $99. NJ/NY Metro Delivery is $99 on orders under $499 and free on orders of $499 or more. Do you install washers and dryers?

We offer professional laundry installation with every delivery: washer or electric dryer hookup is $89, gas dryer hookup is $99. Connection to existing lines only — no modifications.

Can you haul away my old washer and dryer?

Yes, we offer haul-away service for $39 per unit with any delivery.

Should I get a gas or electric dryer?

Accepted Answer

Match your existing hookup: gas dryers cost less to run if you have a gas line; electric needs only a 240V outlet. Speed Queen builds every dryer in both fuel types with identical drums and controls.

What's the difference between the TR and TC (Classic Clean) washers?

The TC5 Classic Clean uses Speed Queen's traditional agitator-and-transmission wash action with a deeper fill; the TR series uses the modern drive system — gentler, more efficient, and backed by up to a 7-year warranty on the TR7.

How do Speed Queen warranties work — and do I need to register?

On the top load line the model number IS the warranty: TR7 and DR7 carry 7 years of parts and in-home labor; TR5, TC5, DR5, DC5 and the front-load family (FF7, DF7, SF7) carry 5 years; TR3 and DR3 carry 3 years. Coverage starts at delivery; registration is recommended but not required.

How long does delivery take?

Accepted Answer

NJ/NY metro delivery typically takes 3–8 business days. US Standard Freight (continental US, including East Coast outside the metro) is 5–16 business days (handling 0–2, transit 5–14). In-stock Speed Queen units usually ship within 1–3 business days of order confirmation.

What is your return policy?

Accepted Answer

Products may be returned within 30 days of delivery in their original, unopened packaging. A 25% restocking fee applies.

What if my machine arrives damaged?

Accepted Answer

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Take photos of the damage and keep all packaging materials. We'll arrange a replacement at no cost.

Are these the same machines as in laundromats?

Accepted Answer

Same factory, same engineering — Speed Queen residential machines are built in Ripon, Wisconsin alongside its commercial equipment and tested to a 25-year design life.
